Youth Environmental Education

Metro Street Focus Organization organizes on regular basis Youth Environmental Education Program for Street Youth. Our target population for this project are the high risk unemployed youth across the city of Toronto. The program normally assists the unemployed youth at risk placed with our organization for a six to nine month period through which time they would acquire some life and basic computer skills such as word processing, Internet, on-the-job experience etc. That would prepare them for the labour market or encourage them to go back to school to take up additional challenging skills. Upon successful completion of this program, the participant would have acquired the following job skills.

  • Word processing and office filing skills
  • Exploring the internet
  • Job search techniques
  • Telephone inquiries and customer service
